I'd suggest that if matched against NATO, Russian conventional forces would fold fairly quickly. Ukraine is fighting without the use of long range strike capability (low number of Storm Shadows aside), & air power. These are things NATO has in spades. What we are seeing now & what we'd see vs a NATO army are not comparable.
Forces are supposed to be fully integrated. At the moment, Ukraine probably has less than half the kit bag at it's disposal. (And is till doing a fantastic job)
