The Putin Tsar is not in a great position. Militia is known for breaking easy, and it looks like all the real soldiers are off fighting in Ukraine.

In any case, there are lots of indicators that the regular army might decide to go over or sit out the fighting if faced with civil war.

Nicholas II did not fall because he ran out of troops. He fell because he ran out of troops willing to die for him.

We may or may not be seeing that here. It does not really matter.

Even if this coup fails, it shows the weakness of the state and others [uprisings] will follow.

It could be some generals or perhaps the Chechens will be up for a third war. There are many possibilities.

Putin's regime has doomed itself. If the Pig ends him or not matters little except the sooner Putin falls, the less pain for all concerned, except him and his cronies.

I am sure that the Pig knows more than you or i about the weakness of government forces. He seems to like his odds.
