Don't think this could have possibly been a scam, at least not for repositioning fighters and plotting attacks on Ukraine. Putin would never purposefully take that personal humiliation just to reposition his fighters. The Country was depicted as one in total disarray. Belarus was instructed how to intervene, it worked and the rest will be for us to see.
