Certainly you’re correct that the West has its fair share of weirdos and plenty of traffic comes its way but perversions and weirdos are fairly common, regardless of which compass point you care to use.
Slavery by another name is what it is and it has plagued humanity since we dropped out of the trees.
Uk was and may still be one of the bigger hubs for this trade but it’s by no means the only place where it is “part of life”.
