no no no no-one EVER said an endless supply ....you tried to work that BS in , but we are a lot more realistic than that "some" reserves IS NOT an endless supply
Ukrainians treat their soldiers as a precious resource and risk them as is needed but as little as can be done if that were not the case the main defence line might've been attacked already risk vs reward ....anyone investing in shares knows you have to assess both risk and reward to justify an action if you are going to lose a lot of men you need high confidence of it being worth it
