On 3 March, the Verkhovna Rada passed a number of martial laws, including bills №5143 and №5144 against collaborationism.The bills introduce criminal liability for cooperation with the aggressor state, its occupation administrations, and/or its armed or paramilitary formations.The bills will restrict the collaborators’ access to positions in state or local government for a period of 15 years and impose other appropriate penalties on persons who carry out such cooperation. The bills contain clauses regarding the possibility of the liquidation of legal entities whose representatives engage in such cooperation. No one will speak up against Russians for that very reason.
