True. A low currency would benefit manufactures and balance their trade (assuming the Russians can find export markets for their primary goods), but the biggest losers would be wage earners because they would see the purchasing power of their wages drop in real terms. Wouldn't suprise me to see capital flight, both financial and human, to continue from the Russian Federation as their war economy cannibalises their consumers.
Meanwhile, the Europeans and Americans will benefit with lower energy prices due to the price cap, either directly through lower prices or indirectly through "greenwashing" as you say: the processing of crude into refined goods. Regardless; Russia can't keep this up without going the way of Venezuela or Devolutionary Iran.
