Ukrainian conscription officials accused of taking bribes and smuggling people out of the country have been sacked in an anti-corruption purge.

Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed more than 30 people face criminal charges, with all regional officials in charge of military conscription removed.

He said bribery at a time of war is "high treason".

we know corruption in Ukraine IS still a problem , as it is in russia ......... the differences are that in Ukraine it's actually SEEN as a problem and stpes are taken to stop it .....whereas in russia , it's a part of the structure of government and is encouraged .
While putin is still in power no efforts will ever be made in russia as they are in Ukraine to stamp it out .
