when interest rates go up by a quarter of a percent (0.25%) in Oz there's a lot of flak - the russian reserve bank with putins approval just put up interest rates by 3.5% in one hit !


this effectively shifts the cost of the war from the government to the people
will not be popular - russians are learning hard lesson about putin , about the war and about how strong a country they REALLY are !
