I see you writing a fair bit along the lines of the above statement so I was just wondering if possibly you could define what is meant by the "norms of general civilised behaviour" or at least your understanding of it

You do realise of course that America is the place that dictates those "norms" - by all means argue it's the UN or whatever....and so America is always going to be held up as a beacon or example of those norms.....but unfortunately they cannot match them....at all, and so your statement genuinely is a moot point. Sure....tell us otherwise, but be prepared to be rightly corrected by many on here
