Yes he would have just waited for the Ukraine to commence their attack on Crimea and join NATO and for the Nationalists to continue to attack the Russian speaking breakaway republics if he had his time again.....sure.....makes sense

But that's not reality, its just a dream. A safe place for some people unable to face reality that The Russian Federation continues its operation in Ukraine.

Reality is this , what's the off ramp? Ukraine winning? Status Quo? Russian Offensive pushing to Zaphorozhia and Kharkiv?
I feel that the US election cycle will force Biden to make a decision by the end of the year to have the Ukraine proxy war either escalate to NATO at war so he can be a wartime president at the election or quit and redirect saved funds to buy votes.
