You're really stretching there.
He is giving both the Ukrainian and Russian claims (a good thing, I would have thought). They differ by one small field (200m width). Given the current complexities/updates, this seems to be pretty accurate even if Ukrainian claims are correct.
Given his history dealing with Ukrianian claims (exaggerations), he does the wise thing and uses his Russian sources to estimate his line.
ps: just hope for AFU conscripts sake that Russia don't have many TOS hanging around.
