The argument that ukraine will be overrun is so silly.

When bakhmut was falling, after 9 months of intense fighting the comments were coming from Pro-russians that ukraine fall is immanent. that they are depleting all their soldiers and after they cant defend bakhmut Russia will steamroll rest of the ukraine forcing it to surrender/will have easy fight back to Kyiv.

and we repeat that again. ukraine is slowly progressing but russia will stop it and reverse and quickly overrun rest of ukraine? No lessons were learnt from how brutal and slow is in this war? and how nothing came from fall of bakhmut*

*russia did benefit from stalling and occupying UA defences while preparing their defences. but at huge cost to their army and wagner. hence why they did not move west at all afterwards. whether that was worthy trade is another issue.
