Why does the US expect Russia to abide by peacetime deals now that the US is conducting
a proxy war with Russia where the Ukraine is merely meat in the sandwich.?

IMO Russia will further support North Korea's nuke development and in particuluar
its development one ICBM with US mainland reach . This has a dual impact:
-it fortifies NK against a S/Korean/Japanese attack while at the same time complements
Russia's ability to respond to US Nuke aggression.

And of course Russia will side with China in the event of the US/China conflict re Taiwan

This Ukraine war is simply polarising the globe economically and politically with the BRICKS
siding with Russia as well as a host of 3rd world African countries while the western coalition
remains in tact so far but with the USD loosing its global reserve currency status.

Current economic sanctions (led by the USA) have sent a clear message to the BRICS:
-decouple from US led economic institutions and the USD ...otherwise later you too could suffer
a similar fate to that of Russia.

India's (as a key BRICK member ) relationships to Russia and the USA is interesting because
it seems to be taking a non-aligned position of sorts. It has a security deal of sorts with the USA
to protect it from China while at the same time it is not observing US led economic sanctions
on Russia by buying Russian oil and military equipment.

But when it comes to Aus' relations with both the USA & China, it seems that we are incapable
of (like India) walking and chewing gum!
