Putinists knew the risks associated will using the Sevastopol dry dock but they didn't really have a choice.

The destruction of the dock is far more significant than the elimination of a ship or even a sub that maybe on it.

I don't subscribe to the view that the loss of this dock will disable Putin's Black Sea fleet in months ..BUT ..... it will knobble fleet maintenance and operational capacity .

Give it 12 months and some key ships will not be operational.
