Putin attacked Ukraine before it was a NATO member. Putin has now threatened both Sweden and Finland not to join NATO.

Apathy and appeasement doesn't work as proven with another dictator named Adolf Hitler. If Hitler was stopped early on with Sudetenland WWII could have been averted. If Putin is not stopped now it will cost the world dearly in future. China is watching the west's resolve closely.

If I was in charge I would amass overwhelming troops in Poland and closer NATO countries. Supply to Ukraine some special forces in support roles straight away. Screw down every sanction on Russia possible so no trade at all. Stalin tried to cut off Berlin but the airlift shows what can be done with determined resolve.
