IMHO, this was a strategic blunder by Biden and Sullivan, Blinken, Nuland and Neo-Liberals who advised him.

Short term, they benefitted via energy and weapons industries. Long term, the world will be split into a multi-polar world.

And USD will not be the reserve currency - and this will have more impact on the US economy, than anything else.

The most profound consequences of this war will be: No country will ever trust the US and EU, to be guardian of their Forex reserves.
