Ukrainian forces say they struck a Russian Black Sea fleet command post near Sevastopol in Crimea this morning.
Crimea and its largest city, Sevastopol, have been repeatedly targeted in recent weeks by drones and other attacks.
No further details were shared - only that the attack was successful.
Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Moscow-backed governor of the wider Sevastopol region, said a missile had been successfully shot down earlier.
In an earlier update, he also noted smoke in "the water area of Sevastopol Bay", which he said was "standard aerosol camouflage" by Black Sea fleet ships.
