If RUB weakness is the cause of inflation - it would only be impacting imported goods and commodities.


So far this week the RUB is doing a little better than the AUD or EUR specially today....




That said the trend this year is RUB weakness but again how much does russia buy in USD anyway?

I would expect they buy and sell more from India, China these days....in Rupees and Yuan
Russia is still running a trade surplus despite sanctions (Export more value than they import) but the difference now is that they arent holding that currency reserve generated in and European or US banks....
