Russian forces shot down all Ukrainian missiles fired at the Saky air base in Crimea, an official has claimed.
Ukraine's military previously said its forces had struck the site overnight, with a Ukrainian intelligence source saying the attack carried out by the SBU security service and navy using drones and Neptune cruise missiles had inflicted "serious damage".
But Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to the Russian-installed head of the local administration Sergei Aksyonov, said in a post on Telegram that all the missiles had been shot down.
