Canada will give Ukraine just under £400m on top of its existing commitments in military aid to Ukraine over the next three years.
Mr Zelenskyy has already secured another large military package from the US after his visit to Washington, and Canada has followed suit just a day later - albeit with a much smaller commitment.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told the Canadian Parliament about the extra funding with President Zelenskyy present.
The Ukrainian leader gave his own speech thanking the Canadian PM and government to rapturous applause and a standing ovation.
"Canadian support for Ukraine with weapons and equipment has allowed us to save thousands of lives," he said.
"Canada's leadership in sanctions against Russia for this war and terror really encouraged others in the world to follow your lead."
