I said long ago Russia was using a tactic of push and withdraw, everywhere. The purpose was to keep uaf groups pinned down, away from the east. Successful. Not denying Ukraine has fought on the whole well and had genuine counter offensive successes. BTW, USA trained Ukraine military to slot into NATO forces. Worth noting, easily verified.
