Recall that the first American Abrams tanks arrived in Ukraine on September 25. As reported by The New York Times, citing two sources in the Pentagon, this happened ahead of schedule, in the hope that the vehicles would be able to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the counter-offensive. In total, the United States plans to transfer 31 tanks to Kyiv.
Lloyd Austin's unusual statement caused a strong reaction on the Internet. Users immediately remembered other “pearls” of the American military leader. Yes, it is protected from the front, but the back and sides burn when hit. Well, it’s unlikely that after the request of their Minister of Defense we will not shoot at these tanks.
