'Significant decrease' in mobilised Russian soldiers, claims Ukraine

Ukraine has observed a "significant decrease" in the number of soldiers being mobilised from certain areas of Russia, reported Ukrinform.

Pavlo Kovalchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainia army's general staff, put it down to a "constant increase in losses" among Russian personnel.

He pointed to the Russian city of Izhevsk, from which groups of 20 to 30 people were called up to occupied territories last month, compared to 100 to 120 people in previous mobilisations.
