Stoltenberg himself said that Putin invaded Ukraine over fears of NATO expansion. He didn't mention anything about land. And I reckon with all the intelligence networks at his disposal, he would know if Putin was fighting this was over land? And he'd definitely know a little more than some sour-as PMC owner, who fell out of Kremlin's favour?
