As they do support the right of Palestinians to a homeland
and peace from Israeli interference/violence .

I support both but that is different to understanding
geopolitics . Like other academic pursuits , geopolitics
has to be treated at arms length (its not all about you...eh)
    and international law is not as well gazetted as our Aus laws;
for example ....collateral damage (kicking civilians) is allowed
so long as its not intended and that strategies to minimise
civilian casualties can be demonstrated .

IMO both Russian bombing of the Ukraine and Israeli bombing
of Gaza has crossed that line

IMO the fact that Russia did not declare war on the Ukraine is
interesting because that would have meant the suspension
of Russia's 'normal legal system" in lieu of war emergency provisions.

Israel , however, had no such reservation by forming a war cabinet
which gazumps Israeli courts if deemed necessary.

Ironically that is what the Israeli Government wanted to do
    before this "war" ...

So to set the record straight, Im totally against war as a strategy
to resolve international conflict (IMO the Gaza war is more of a civil war)
because it conflicts will all civilised norms . In summary, war is
the problem, not the solution and perhaps the Russians/Ukrainians
& Israel/Palistinians will realise that at some time in the future.

So please don't try to do a 'Straw Man" argument re my
allegiances to justify your advocacy of war... just accept
that its my right to be anti-war for good sound moral reasons .
