well , if we are talking about it currently ,one difference was that this was Palestinian initiated whereas in Ukraine it was russia , who is doing the killing of civillians almost entirely , that initiated the conflict .

As to whether or not Israel ios doing enough to value the lives of Palestinians , while I haven't been following closely ....I suspect not .....and russia certainly not .

So yes there is at least one difference .
But I presume this is intended as some sort of justification for russia striking cities nowhere near the front .....I don't buy that and neither should anyone here .
