Ukrainian forces have advanced near Bakhmut and continued their offensive operations in western Zaporizhzhia, according to the Institute for the Study of War.
Geolocated footage indicates Ukrainian forces had advanced over a railway line south of Andriivka, 10km southwest of Bakhmut, the US-based thinktank said in its latest update.
"The Ukrainian general staff reported that Ukrainian forces continued assault operations south of Bakhmut and continued offensive operations in the Melitopol direction," it said.
"A prominent Russian military blogger claimed that Ukrainian forces established control over unspecified positions in the Zaporizhzhia direction over the past week," it added.
