@watso you are surprising - didn't think you had political views - but now know that you are originally from a former 'satellite' country - a friend of mine has stopped being a friend after 30 years of friendship, he also has some tenuous link to said country'ies, knows the language, listens to radio broadcasts from Eastern Europe, and 'believes' in Putes - I never commented, but didn't agree readily to his constant barracking for P - he cast me off, because I didn't agree, I was simply silent, but allowed him to talk. I still don't know what exactly happened - very painful in real life - not so bad on social media.
will still talk, though, if he remembers to call - it could also have been a momentary lapse into Alzheimers - seems to have symptoms, is forgetful etc. - so I haven't given up yet.

There is a lot of propaganda coming at us from both sides, but also from a very sophisticated Russian propaganda machine - they had lots of practice in the U.S.A. election of Trump - are busily broadcasting onto social media in Europe -

For me the fact that Zelensky was a comedian who didn't mind making fun of and with his manly bits is a sign that he is a well-rounded human being - and he has risen magnificently to this historical challenge - he is a true warrior.
In contrast to Putin, who thinks himself a born-again-czar and whose daughters (and wives, even though he tries to keep it all a secret) live in utter luxury - has no claim on my sympathy, me a former working-class kid and former ardent socialist - no more - all are corruptible.
