1. we are concerned about PNG and if you'd been able to read recent headlines would've revealed that to you
2. we have no influence over Indonesias foreign policy ......but jumping from BRI involvement to foreign bases etc is an assumption
3. these countries you mention have not had their country invaded by a larger power and their land stolen - Ukraine have !

Now I know it suits your politics to see russia succeed in Ukraine but Oz is able to walk and chew gum ...... our moral commitment to Ukraine has costs us nothing nd our praqctical aid has been relatively small .....not being in our region .....but very right and propper we do our little bit , as all morally inclined democracies do .
