"The Odessa publication "Dumskaya" expressed criticism of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' operation to hold a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper, considering it meaningless and leading to significant losses. The article states that most Ukrainian soldiers transported across the river die before reaching the shore, and those who managed to get there are fired upon by the Russian army.

“People are simply constantly thrown across the river - wave after wave. There is no talk of any further breakthrough; now their strength is wasted simply on staying there. For what?”, the author of the article asks.

The publication claims that such actions would make sense if the Ukrainian Armed Forces were actively advancing elsewhere, but at the moment Ukrainian troops are defending themselves in other sectors of the front. In this regard, “Dumskaya” calls on the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to reconsider the need to continue the operation, pointing out its obvious pointlessness after the completion of the offensive in the Zaporozhye region. Particular attention is paid to the risk to the lives of marines sent to the left bank of the Dnieper."
