IMO that is the mission of the CIA.

The reason that the US sees Russia as an enemy is because it has
a substantial arsenal of NUKES and the ability to deliver them.

While the USA engineered the demise of the USSR, it may be
more difficult to economically engineer the demise of the Russian Federation, IMO.

The unintended consequence of the US meddling in the Ukraine's domestic politics
which gave way to this war was that it Unified Russia & China , Russia being the biggest military threat to the USA
and China being the biggest economic threat to the US/USD.

The question is:
What will the post Ukrainian War world look like?
IMO, the USA will have lost some skin both militarily and economically
while China will have gained both militarily & economically.

Which begs the question?

What about Taiwan?
Taiwan is as dependant on China trade wise just as much as Aus
and for that reason China will want to suppress the Taiwanese economy
just as the US wants to suppress that of China. China , however, has
a stronger hand in Taiwanese trade that does the USA.

Its ironic that the moving part of Sun Electronics manufacturing to Texas
was seen as a win for Taiwan when it was quite the opposite (its a win for the USA)
