Myths , dishonest excuses and discredited liesseen on this thread this year :
1.500 NATO generals - gone , an embarrasment now
2. Trickies greater than 7:1 kill ratio - likewise
3. that Ukrainians are run by nazis - never supported , no evidence , hardly seen now
4. that Ukraine were invaded because they were "hypermilitarised " - never seen now , stupid as any here
5.that Ukraine were invaded because of security concerns ......yet russia has pulled it's troops off NATO borders to fight in Ukraine , LOL
6.that it was OK to invade Ukraine because they were corrupt ! Except russia easily shown to be even more so ...and that was never a suitable excuse anyway .
7. That it was all about fear of NATO - except it caused Finland to join enabling missiles to be placed close to both of russias main cities ....lokks like Sweden likely too and a couple of others want to join now .
8.That this war WASN'T a land grab ....despite russia grabbing the land !
9. that this ws to protect the russian minorities in Donbas --- by throwing out or victimising the majority ethnic Ukraininas and adding two more Oblasts - no justification ever given .
10.that the russian economy is doing FINE with a very low rouble and very high (16% and rising) official interest rate and 40% of next years budhet ear marked for the war
11. that russia must beat Ukraine in the end ..... but they aren't , still only hold 10% more of Ukraine than they held prior to nvasion
12.that this is a "proxy war " - if it is why did putin start it ?????
13. that putin has some right to have his troops in Ukraine ----- NEVER EVER EXPLAINED HOW THAT COULD BE ???
14. That putin wants peace and Ukraine are holding back on peace talks ......putin has said recently ....."peace will come when our objectives are acheived ."
15.that countries are wrong to aid Ukraine in defending themselves ........how is it that aggressor stealing land can be RIGHT and the nation defending can be wrong ???

this list isn't definitive or complete but it is an indication of the paucity of legitimate arguments available to those that support russia .......and their continual dishonesty and lack of moral charachter !

While we are putting lists together here are some of my favourite zingers from you Tangs:

1. Expended depleted uranium munitions are completely harmless
2. Nordstream was blown up by eco terrorists
3. A pilot could be trained and combat ready an F16 in 3 months
4. The recruitment of woman to the Ukraine military to provide much needed "warm bodies" on the frontline was a progressive step forward for womans rights
