Putin's land army is run down to a point where it is incapable of doing much in Ukraine or anywhere else..... for now.

My further expectation is that Putinist politicians in the US and Europe will fail to provide the military pause Putin needs to regenerate his ground forces. The hypothetical Trump victory Putin is depending on will happen either.

Putin's divide to conquer projects were spectacularly successful over the last decade or so. Sadly for Putin his forces can't capitalise on the temporarily polarised Western politics he helped create.
