Andy, you obviously don't understand that Russia is advanced to the point they have even designed an alternate method of making LNG and are building the plant now if I recall. It is no good kidding ourselves that Russians are primitive orcs. Their missile technology is superior to anything the west has and the US is playing catch up. Large turbines are still a problem for them last I saw. Remember the Gazprom turbines sent to Canada for repair, although they do make their own jet engines. Regarding infrastructure for that gas plant, it is already in place. What a gift.

Russia currently has around 6 million working in the military industrial complex. If things continue as they are Ukraine will be defeated IMO. It is simple maths.
