    Tangs, you have a problem facing facts. Russia has those regions and will defend them as part of Russia. Do you understand that Russian law has been changed to make it impossible to hand them back even if Putin wanted. They were breakaway republics. They are populated by ethnic Russians who want to join Russia. They were Russia till Stalin included them uber in the formation of Ukraine. Considering the turmoil of the civil war and the killings of ethnic Russians, it is best they stay with Russia. IMHO.
