if you were more perceptive you'd understand

russia is no threat to Oz BUT this is a precedent of conquest attempting to be set in our times when most nations abhor it and have higher standards (than yours)

China is the ally of russia - (freind without limmits)- with a history of expanding into other countries territories ....do you need that explained too ???
China is watching and will either be encouraged or discouraged by what the outcome of this is
their ally russia , can potentially gain ground and hold it in Ukraine or have their economy completeely trashed and be defeated over time

what is happening in Ukraine is a test of whether evil such as we saw in WW2 with Hitler and Japans military expansions can be successful today in this age ....or whether nations will rally to stop it and ensure territorial integrity of Ukraine (and by implication , all countries )
