what is so interesting is that the world is so used to American war mongering propaganda that when confronted with a president actually spelling out the intelligence as per exactly what they know, the world does not quite know what to say

I see the transparency as a quantum shift in a positive way in the context of USA propaganda however it is just a pity for Ukraine that the USA have told the truth and stood back rather than building propaganda / justification for sending in the heavy weapons

The USA I believe have read the room quite well, especially considering modern info systems, the internet, global media, satellite technology and rather than making up stories, they have pretty much told it as it is

Make no mistake, had USA put troops in Ukraine, Russian bombers would be heading for US bases elsewhere in Europe .. thats just the way it is

The problem is that whether we like it or not, the west is now a target for Russia .. let's not fluff about we have 'called them out' 'stood up to them' 'targeted them with sanctions' but we haven't really digested the idea of facing them on a battlefield, that is what these moronic politicians should consider

How are we going to react if Moscow 'targets' Australian assets or personnel with hypersonic or ballistic weapons ? Are we going to 'call them out' and 'stand up to them' then ? It won't be our politicians facing these weapons but our forces
