I guess most people here knew as soon the Russian military said the Flag ship wasn't sunk, it was absolutely sunk and sitting on the bottom of the sea. Early reports from Turkey were correct, hit by missiles, severely damaged, fire, rolled over in heavy weather and sunk within hours. The Russians couldn't hide from satellite day photography.

The propaganda, lies and spin is continuous from their military.

What another waste of lives, their will be a few hundred sailors killed, but this also won't be reported. When a missile hits a magazine, it won't be a good outcome for those on board.

Putin will have to turn further inward on Russia to maintain control. What choice does he have? To save his own skin he will tighten controls on the population, more will go missing, more will be conscripted, more single media control. Abuses and torture to return.... Ramping up to a typical tyrant, after hopefully a failed attempt at further imperialism.
