As we mentioned in our morning post, Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov will be holding his annual news briefing at Moscow's Smolenskaya Square this morning.
According to the foreign ministry, Mr Lavrov will "review foreign policy performance for 2023, share forecasts for 2024, assess the state of international relations, and answer journalists' questions".
We'll cover that as it happens at 11am local time (8am UK time).
Mr Lavrov is one of the longest-serving Russian foreign ministers having taken up the post in 2004.
He sparked outrage during his 2023 news conference when he compared a coalition of countries backing Ukraine with Adolf Hitler's "final solution" to eradicate Jewish people in Europe.
