I'm not really talking about Russia in this conversation but if i disagree strongly with something you say about Russia I'll let you know.

It is hypocritical to put Ukraine (one of the more corrupt countries on the planet) up as some kind of ideal democracy, because they simply arent.
Zelensky went with the Nuland doctrine to antagonise russia and escalate military conflict in 2021 after Bidens team got the whitehouse and Nuland visited Kiev, now we are here. Ukraine could have avoided war if they had genuinely pursued Minsk agreement rather than pursue Crimean re-integration by military force. Zelensky said yeah nah maybe 20 years mate when Putin asked him about Minsk implementation.

March 2022 they had an opportunity for negotiated peace but chose more war and thats what they got.

It seems likely now that Russia will overwhelm NATO capacity to supply arms and Ukraine capacity to supply troops. Will it be Zaluzhny or maybe Budanov to take leadership of the military (and maybe the remnant country) to focus on guerilla partisan warfare and terrorist style saboteur action across russia. Russia dealt with similar Chehen efforts in the past after the Chechen war.

This is a terrible outcome for the people of Ukraine but do NATO really care?
