yet putin DID go in for land ....the Donbas .....but this tiume for some reason unexplained he added Kharkiv and Kherson
all fourt oblast majority ethnically Ukrainian
he HAS claimed annexation on all these regions ....though he is unable to capture them
Kharkhiv and Kherson in case you were too thick to work it out was to get a land link to Crimea .
He badly wanted Odesa too and Kyiv so he could set up puppets as in Belarus and destroy democracy in Ukraine as he has in rusisa .
it was always aboput land "....it has fallen to us to bring back to russia what belongs to her ...."
