In contrast to you throwing out implausibility's, lets look at the facts of recent and current Russian invasions of neighbours..... Chechnya, Georgia, Ukraine.
See a pattern?
Wonder why so many countries will go to war or risk war, to have nothing to do with Russia?
Example being why do the Baltic States want nothing to with the dictatorship to their East.
Sweden and Finland joining NATO, out of fear of Russia!
Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria etc, previously under the control of Russia, are aiding the Ukraine because of fear of Russia.
Russia has made Nato the supreme military alliance on the planet by an even greater margin with new members clamouring to join and significant rearmament underway.
Putin genius at work, you would apparently claim?
