Russian LNG exports to Europe hit an all-time high in November

Exports of Russian LNG to Europe were the highest ever in November 2023 and amounted to 1.75 million tons or 2.4 bcm, according to Kpler data.

In total, in November, Russia exported more than 2.9 million tons or 4 bcm. In the period from January to November, exports amounted to 29.1 million tons of LNG or almost 40.2 bcm, which is 2.5% less than in 2022.

The largest volumes of gas in November went to Belgium - 10 deliveries from the Kryogaz-Vysotsk plant. France received cargoes from the Yamal LNG project, a total of 6 cargoes were delivered.

At the end of November, it became known that approximately 20% of LNG coming to Europe from Russia is transshipped and sent to other parts of the world. Because of this, the National Security Agency even included the Belgian independent operator of the Fluxys gas system in the list of international sponsors of the war.
