As for "that doesn't sound plausible"... We've heard that many times in regards to Russia. It didn't sound plausible that the Russian economy would withstand US/EU sanctions. It didn't sound plausible that Russia had enough missiles. It didn't sound plausible that Russia had enough soldiers. It didn't sound plausible that Russia could withstand the "great and terrible Ukrainian counter-offensive". All of these things were proven WRONG with time.

By the way, you forgot to provide a link to the article. Surely it's not one of those anti-Russian biased mass media outlets, right?
