No, Putin has condemned his people to a generation of poverty. Apart from fossil fuels, that will now become stranded assets (RIP), they have very little in the way of other resources. Sanctions may take a year or two but they will bite eventually. The rest of the world will isolate him and his own people will take matters into their own hands.

My preference is the gofundme campaign for a $50m bounty on Putin. Unless he spends the rest of his life in a bunker a drone strike is almost inevitable.
