The International Court of Justice - the UN's top court - will rule today on Ukraine's allegations that Russia financed separatist rebels in the country's east in 2014.
In the same case, Ukraine has also accused Russia of discriminating against Crimea's multiethnic community since it annexed the peninsula in the same year.
The case, which was filed in 2017, predates the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
