    Vladimir Putin is still ready to negotiate a peace settlement with Ukraine based on the Istanbul agreements that the two parties concluded back in March 2022! That's why he never published the agreement but kept brining it up over and over again. He still sees what was negotiated back then as the most realistic way to come to a peace agreement. Watch the segment toward the end of the 2 hour interview in which Putin makes it as clear as it gets that he wants a negotiated end to the tragedy and how he would be willing to go about it—even without humiliating either the West nor Ukraine. Spoiler alert: neutrality for Ukraine is also still on the table.
