Syrskyi's parents live in Russia: what is known about the family of the new commander-in-chief of the AFU

Shows how close Russian and Ukrainian are - especially Eastern Parts of Ukraine.

Much is known about the new commander-in-chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, under whose leadership Ukrainian soldiers will continue to fight against the aggressor, as a military man. However, almost nothing is known about his family. At the same time, the thesis that Syrsky is a "real Russian" is being actively spread in the swamps, as his parents and brother live in Russia.

According to official information, Oleksandr Syrskyi was born in the village of Novyky, Vladimir Oblast, Russia, which was then the Russian Soviet Republic. He studied in Moscow and then moved to Ukraine, and most of his life is connected with Ukraine and his service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

However, according to the Russian media, the new chief of the Armed Forces is still connected to Russia not only by his place of birth, but also by the fact that his relatives continue to live in Russia. His parents, Lyudmyla and Stanislav Syrskyi, as well as his brother Oleh, live in the city of Vladimir, which is less than 200 kilometers from Moscow.

According to propagandists, the 84-year-old father and 82-year-old mother are now retired. Stanislav Syrskyi is a retired colonel in the Russian army.

Now they spend most of their time at the coumtry house. Lyudmyla Syrska sings in a vocal group of veteran teachers.

Russian publics also spread information that the parents of the commander-in-chief were active on social media before the full-scale Russian invasion, posting "patriotic posts". Among the publics to which Lyudmyla Syrska subscribes is one called "I love you, Russia". Together with her husband, she participated in the actions of the "Immortal Regiment" and both are "proud of their past".

According to Z-public, Syrskyi's parents hide their relationship to the Ukrainian military and do not discuss his career. They say that they "learned about their son's appointment to the post of chief of the Armed Forces from the news" and complain about the "wave of hate" after the fact of their relationship came to light.
