1. US growth is high and is being deliberately restrained by the FED - they don't want more growth than they presently have but a little less - unlike russia where growth is too slow at present

2. the IMF needs to work on the figures russia feeeds them ....you can take them as gospel if you want ....but russia lies
Others have guessed at what the real situation might be and reached far different conclusions .

3. The fasteswt growing part of the rusisan economy is arms production which is on no way a positive for russia as it involves cosrt but no return .

4. GDP growth isn't necessarily a measure of the health of an economy ....interest rates and inflatuon rate ARE ......

5.russia can't sustain their war on their earnings and are borrowing and robbing their future fund to do that
